🚀 Case Study: $76,820 In Sales From a Brand New Skool Group of 100 Members
With Nothing But Sixth Grade Simple Posts and an ugly Google doc.
My first Skool group campaign ended last week.
And we did $69,982 in sales with a brand new 100 member group.
Not including backend resell licensing which is at $7k right now.
And likely $10k by the end of the week.
Sounds like good copy, right?...
50% conversion from a NEW 100 person group...
$76,920 in sales so far...
$41,000 cash collected as of this writing.
And $3582 in recurring for the next 9 months 🔁
All done in about 28 days.
Using just a handful of posts and a Google doc for the offer.
But if I was on the outside I’d say, “Well sure Tony, those 100 peeps came from a group where they already knew you. That’s easy…”
Sure, it’s true they knew me...
But two things can be true at the same time ⚖️
Just because they knew me didn’t mean they gave me a free pass either.
Initially, seven people who saw the offer gave me a hard pass.
I got responses like:
“Hey Tony I’ll sit this one out. But it’s a killer offer…”
“I'll sit this one out for the time being but might come back later. Appreciate your time…”
It wasn’t until nearly 2 weeks later they began trickling back in.
Saying things like…
“Hey Tony your past 5 or 6 posts for QLL have been speaking my language haha…”
“Hey Tony, I was wondering if you could open the file back on me..."
“Hey Tony, I know I was out. Anyway I can grab that spot we talked about?…”
Now before you wonder what magical werds I used? 🪄
I didn’t.
Or what technique I pulled outa my NLP hat.
There wasn’t one.
That’s the beauty of how I run campaigns.
It’s just good ol’ fashioned listening and iterating
You see, I think I’m good at making initial offers…
But I like to think I’m even better at just listening to people…
…and understanding their situation.
That’s the power of running campaigns based on real-time DATA…
…rather than on surveys and assumptions.
Because everyone has an opinion until you ask for a credit card 💳
And that’s where I’m going to focus in this case study.
The stuff that’s more powerful than techniques, methods, or the next guru strategy.
It’s the thing that sits behind all of that.
And no one is talking about.
But I’ll tell ya, it’s easier to do than mentally masturbating over strategies 🙃
