Baking New Pie and not getting stuck serving it indefinitely is the trick. I’m good at creating value (and jobs for myself). Need to stay in the dealmaker/partner seat

Excellent insight Eric! Offering to bake a NEW Pie for partners makes saying "YES" easy for them and "lucrative" for you!

The Asset Hunt - for most, the email list is ignored, so that's a good place to start. Whatever the partner is selling right now would work, or we could find something else. Heck, I could even create something related to what's being sold, too. So many possibilities!

Man it's hard to pick. It's like asking who is your favourite Avenger, Beatle and Bond Girl! But I like the Asset Hunt and the Baking a New Pie for starters.

The ā€œBaking New Piesā€ Strategy & Start Small and Test - Just got to stop the overthinking

Excellent, Rather than stopping overthinking consider focusing on the benefits of following through? Our focus is a powerful thing. Asking ā€œWhy is this important to me? What’s the cost of not doing it and what’s the meaningful benefits of doing it?ā€¦ā€ can work wonders in our lives!

"Take your big deal idea and cut it down to the smallest possible test."

I am guilty of thinking too far ahead... Then I skip the part where the partner has to be on board first...

And I have no idea if its going to be a viable deal / partnership...

Just by starting with Cutting it down to the SMALLEST POSSIBLE test,

and focusing on just this bit first will def. help

Thanks Tony...

- PS I also like (need to remember) the coffee date without pressure.

Approach with:

Curiosity: Genuine interest in their business and challenges

Exploration: Joint discovery of possible opportunities

It is hard to pick. Sadly, it uses the contacts list in a way I find repugnant. I don't SPAM friends. I just cook Spam for them because I am from Hawaii. lol

Maybe it's because I've only had one cup of coffee so far, but when you say "Sadly, it uses the contacts list in a way I find repugnant..." what are you speaking to specifically? None of these strategies suggest spamming anything or anyone.

A bit a deep dive into ā€œ(2) The Asset Hunt: Finding Gold in Other People’s Garagesā€ certainly would help :-)

Peeeerefect. It’s like there’s other peoples ripe fruit all over the ground and we get to harvest it before it rots. (And keep 20 to 50% of the spoils)
