But how does one go about securing partnerships and doing deals to begin with?
Especially if they have zero ties to the online world…
Or they’re not already a copywriter, freelancer, or internet marketer…
If you do already have ties to the online world then I might suggest you start with how I secure multi six figure deals through my Warm Market Outreach AMA.
If we’re playing golf, I wanna start with the ball that’s already as close to the hole as possible.
And starting inside my warm market is how I still get multiple six figure deals a month brought to my door step.
But if you’re working a full time 9-5 or full time gig?….
Well, this is what I’d start.
The first thing to take into consideration before anything else…is your stance.
Coming from a powerful stance is what’s going to move your reality forward.
NOT watching 311 videos on the subject.
I want to help you to avoid coming from a needy place.
Your bills are already paid if you’ve got a 9-5.
You don’t NEED deals.
You’d LIKE deals.
But you don’t just want any deal.
You want the best deals.
Just like most women don’t want a needy man…
…business owners who are already doing ok don’t want someone who comes across as needy, desperate, and selfish.
#1: You see, there’s your focus (making enough income to walk away from the 9-5 or full time gig).
#2: There’s your partners focus (selling a lot more of their prawdukt and getting into NEW markets).
#: And there’s the most USEFUL focus.
The most useful focus is usually finding out and solving your prospective partners most present and painful problem that you can solve.
AKA, up and down sales, unconverted paid leads they can’t get to a sales call etc…
If you’ve already got a full time gig, learning how to run tests and full on Rainmaker campaigns is going to be time consuming.
Not impossible to do…
However, running tests requires the skills to know what’s what.
So focusing on running campaigns is gonna be a big gap to bridge initially.
Sure you can run smaller campaigns like Sales Savers (and I do recommend that even for people who are new to the Mojo Universe)…
But you’ll still need to make the time to tap in those sales or find someone who can.
So what would I do?
The answer is the focus.
Instead of only focusing on what I want (making big money from running a rainmaker campaign)…
I’d make MY focus solving more seasoned Rainmakers biggest problem.
And that’s securing high quality partners.
I’ll define what high quality means in a minute.
But if you can partner with Rainmakers who already possess the skills and experience needed to monetize partner audiences…
…you can find and secure those partners spare time part time and marry the two together?
Well shoot, you could just ride shotgun on the campaign or not do anything at all.
But still get paid 10% of the deal up to $10,000 for JUST for bringing the prize to the party.
Without lifting another finger.
“But Tony, I only get $10,000 per campaign?…”
Yup, someone could make a few hundred thousand dollars a year just bringing deals to Rainmakers like myself and others.
10 to 20 deals a year at $10k finders fees each isn’t a bad way to make a living.
$200,000 for researching, teeing up conversations, and making introductions?
Not shabby.
And if you’re just part time spare time and bringing deals to the table?
Then Rainmakers like myself are doing all the heavy lifting to monetize the deals from the Coffee Date to running the actual campaigns.
